[story] Reuters says Nvidia released security software it claims could have stopped the Hugging Face hack. Hugging Face is where developers park their AI models, and intruders got inside it. Wired says Nvidia's system is OPEN source, free for anyone to download and inspect. [closer] Would have stopped it is the safest claim in tech, because nobody can rerun the hack to check. And Nvidia sells the chips every one of these bots runs on. Now it ships the brakes too. That's not a fix. That's an ALIBI with a download link.
